First, I wasn't sure if you were supposed to start coloring the very outer ring (enclosed loop), or the open portion of the spiral. I quickly figured that part out. I completed a few a pages, which take a very long time, and can't see the images very well. It was only because I was unable to see the image very clearly that I questioned if maybe I was coloring the spiral incorrectly. Unlike many reviews suggest, this book is not a puzzle. A puzzle requires some amount of skill. Regardless of skill level -- as long as you can mostly color within the lines -- everyone will get the same result. You also don't need to be very creative to color these. I really loved this author's previous book series and hoped to get the same satisfaction. This review is not to suggest YOU shouldn't buy these books or that YOU will dislike this series. This was simply my experience.
