The physical book itself almost seems like something he might have made. And like all the volumes in this series, it offers equal measures of art, inspiration, biography, and fascinating details & facts. Whether you've never come across Joseph Cornell before, or if you're already familiar with him, this is a fine addition to your shelf of art books. It really captures the dream-made-tangible quality of his art, so evocative & haunting. Paradoxically, the seeming confinement of the box works as a doorway onto another universe of wide-open wondering & reflection: this to me seems the essence of the man's vision. For anyone with imagination, this little book is highly recommended indeed!
